After her summer cut... She's basking in her flower bed, I think she feels safest there... She loves to sleep there and it seems she doesn't have as many nightmares in it as she does in the black chair... She gets her cut also but not for the same reasons as Mitsuru, but because she gets hot and when she does. She sorta lays around like a beach whale and not wanting to move. This is not good as her vision is 75-80%, she neglects to go to the bathroom and drink [which she may become dehydrated] in the summer over the heat [heavy coat] and not able to see very well. This is my reasoning and it seems to work because for the past summer she was moving and doing kitty normal things... ^_^

Plus, its a check-plus as I don't have to be picking up dust-bunnies/kitties.

Here's she is in here new summer cut... I think she hears the neighbors and she's listening in. Not quite sure what she was doing... Still... She weighs now 6.8pnds and she looks the part now... Yah, at least she won't be puking hairballs everywhere and be able to eat without throwing it up. Thank goodness it has worked and she's happy.

Play day...

I have started them on exercising [playing] for Carly mostly she needs to loose a few pnds. Mitsuru is a skinny rail, we feel so bad cuz she looks like a anorexic thing reminds me of how Lindsay Lohan's looking these days.

Carly and Mitsuru played for 20 minutes with their favorite long silver necklace. They really love it. Specially Carly because she can hear it and sense it.

Yesterdays play day was like always except for Carly, she was funny/sad. She got near my sandals and jumped so high after she jumped she backed away and jumped again as she hit the leg of the PC caddy. It was funny but sad at the same time. After that ordeal she still was willing to play. This is the only time they don't fight. Well more like Mitsuru doesn't hiss or fight with poor Carly.

I feel so sad for her when she cannot see the sandals or if there is an object that wasn't /suppose/expected to be there. I wonder if she will always react like that?

Shaving day...

She was a total good girl. She was so co-operative more then we can say about Mitsuru. We even brought Mitsuru with us. :) But to no avail Mitsuru totally attacked Carly. We had to separate them.


I had to put Carly in the carrier but Mitsuru had to be carried and she was not really happy meowing like a banchie. I was so heart broken. It thought I was doing a good thing by bringer her with us but it was so bad. Never again will I be doing this.

Our Beautiful Sophie

Today I finally got such sad news. One of my flickr friends kitty, named Sophie, passed away. She was an adorable kitty. She was suffering from thyroid problems and was in a Radio Active Iodine Treatment.
Which was making her a bit better. But when I finally signed to flickr and saw read the email. I started to cry. My heart went out to Richard and his family. It's so hard to loose a love one. She's now in a place where she isn't suffering any more.

I cried and hugged my kitties and cried some more. I know its part of life but still it hurts so much to loose a special someone.

It brought back memories of Grace and Mr. Degu. :( And cried even more BFG came and comfort me. I really feel for Richard, it really gets to me cuz I can imagine how she might have been with them and then all of a sudden she is no longer there and although its good to remember her its a bit sad to also remember her cuz she isn't there any more. You know what I mean.

It's like when OCM lost JC Kitty... And when Hélène [merlinprincesse] also lost her prescious kitty Merlin. I cried even more to remember their loss.

I truly feel for all of you and your loss. My heart goes out to you all.

Richard was so kind to send me an email in his time of sorrow. I'm so truly grateful. There is also a Tribute Threat in our group. I feel truly for him. A big hug goes out to you and yours.

Mitsuru Sleeping

Mitsuru got shaved and was exhausted after her ordeal. She looks like a skinny mini but its worth it. She vomits so much, I feel its not good for her stomach. It cost way less then at the vet plus at the vet they put them down. More of a trauma for the body then when she's being shaved awake. Next week is Carly's appointment. I wonder if she will hiss at her?

Vet Visit

Kitties were anxious but poor Carly wanted her comfort 'FOOD.' But no luck she was not to have any after her visit with the Cardiologist. Taking here there she was such a good kitty. All the people there were so happy and love Carly so very much. They praised her so much. They did many tests which took hrs. We were there for 4hrs. They shaved her sides to do an ultra sound of the heart. They found she has a slight arrhythmia but nothing to be too alarmed about. They also found she still has kidney stones. We need to see the vet now about that. I want to treat it before it gets worse. I have been very vigilant about her drinking water but I want to maybe put her on the same Urinary S/O. And see what other measures need to be taken.

The advise the cardiologist said was to listen to her heart every once or twice a week with the stethoscope [good we own one]. Just to make sure she doesn't have any irregular rhythms... I was like is there anything else? I was reading about Nephrolithiasis and got all crazy and my vet is not open. Need to wait!

I'm so over protective and so nuts when it comes to them. I want them to live a healthy, happy and wonderful life. I love them with all my heart and want the best for them.

As always Mitsuru was up to no good when Carly came back. Hissing like a banchy at her and just not very happy that she was back. Like always. Will see when Mitsuru gets her haircut next week how things will be.

Night before...

Carly is oblivious to what's gonna be going on tomorrow. Been thinking if we should take Mitsuru with us too as she gets so mean when Carly goes of to the vet.

Mitsuru's been so into the new washer. She finds it interesting to see how the clothes turn and turn. Reminds me of that episode of Family Guy when Peter was watching the washing machine as if it was the TV, totally funny.

Carly on the other hand just doesn't bother as she's sort of 90-95% blind... :(

I just fed both of them, as Carly can't eat after midnight.

Today's Events...

Kitties were nagging about food outside the bedroom door. Got up to feed them but a bit too late BFG was feeding them...
Pretty quiet morning... OCM has Big Ruby until the weekend. Apparently, he's a talker during the night, heee... And gets along with his other kitties. How lucky is that... :)

Washed Carly's flower bed. she vomited. I'm a bit sad cuz it ripped during the wash, now I need to sew it. Poor Carly will not have her bed until it air dries tomorrow possibly. :(

Mitsuru's been a jumpy one today. slipping, sliding and jumping through out the house. Carly and her had a chasing fight but Mitsuru keeps growling while poor Carly fends for herself. Its quite a weird out fight that we constantly try to stop. I don't like them fighting, at all... Mitsuru always takes off when we try to stop them. But don't get me wrong Carly doesn't coward she fights although my heartaches when I see that Mitsuru is gone and she's still hitting the air.

Carly has won the bed once again. I think she loves beds... lol... Mitsuru is not quite happy with the outcome... I hope the bed gets dry soon... :)

Together once again... They do this at least once a day now... I will try to see if I can catch them but its sometimes hard as Mitsuru thinks that when I get up its to feed her. So, she tends to get up and follow me and then the moment is gone...

Mitsuru Modeling

Mitsuru looked so cute had to take this marshmallow moment... :) I was so happy that she's going little by little to her purple bed... We thought she would never take a liking to it. We are truly happy! :) Although, Carly was making it hers, too... LOL! :) I think it was some sort of kitty war that was going on... :) As Mitsuru tries to take the leadership role away from Carly. It's a struggle they live with day in day out. It started way when Carly was going back and forth to the Vet and Mitsuru thinking she was the only kitty left she was totally dominant when she realize that Carly was coming back and thinking now you come to my house, you follow me. Carly was not having none of that... So the kitty wars began and has remain ever since. Although, they do somewhat tolerate each other... :)

She was starting to get up and was thinking I was going to feed her. She's always thinking if food is coming her way. Totally funny.

Both Carly and Mitsuru had been sleeping together once again... I'm so ecstatic that they keep at the sleeping somewhat next to each other... BFG, says finally were getting what we paid for... LOL, I told him that kitties sometimes are very fickle about their friend mates and takes time for them to get along once again...

I only cross my fingers that one day they become buddies and drink from the same bowl... :)

Days Event...

Girls ate @ 10am... meow, scratching! Petted Carly for 1hr. Mitsuru felt jealousy that when I finished she ignored me for like 1/2hr... She was too funny. BFG came home and Mitsuru was meowing what I had done. LOL... BFG was like what's she saying... Explain and felt a bit guilty that I fed them again... and when I was eating cheese bread I gave her some and also some to Carly. Bad of me, I know.

BFG went for a nap... But when it was time to get up Mitsuru kept meowing at the door for BFG to get up. Too funny...

Carly's passed out on her flower... She enjoyed her hr petting...

Mitsuru's meowing to BFG and he's like 'Goodness...' LOL...

Finally captured them somewhat sleeping close to each other... we need to protect our couches cuz they love it too much although we bought them scratch posts and rugs... they love the side of the couches more... the purple thing on the side is a new bed... but Mitsuru doesn't like it... :( Carly, will somewhat sleep on it. but she loves her flower more...
